Baked Brie With Jam
The holiday means hanging out with family and friends. In this video, I will show you how to make an Easy Holiday Appetizer, a Brie En Croute Recipe. We are going to bake brie in a puff pastry.
Brie En Croute FAQ:
Do you take the rind off of brie cheese before baking?
A note about the rind: I did not cut the rind away prior to baking. It is perfectly digestible, and you don't notice it much when your brie is baked. When I'm consuming brie unbaked, I sometimes removed the rind merely because I don't take joy in it.
How do you eat brie en croute?
Brush the surface of the brie en croute with egg wash.
Add your preferred jam and nuts.
Wrap the brie en croute in a puff pastry.
Bake: Bake for 25-30 minutes or until pastry is golden light brown. Cool down and serve: Relocate brie en croute to an uncontaminated work surface or serving plate and allow to cool for 5-10 minutes. Serve with fruit crackers and artisanal bread.
Can you reheat brie en croute?
Reheating Leftover Brie En Croute. If you have leftovers, you can loosely cover it in aluminum foil and reheat it in a 350 ° F oven for about 10 to 15 minutes until the brie is runny again and the puff pastry is hot.
