Feeling like there’s never enough? It’s time to shift from scarcity to abundance. The power of mindset can’t be overstated—those with an abundance mindset achieve more overall success, according to a Stanford study. Thriving entrepreneurs see every challenge as an opportunity and believe success is within reach. What is YOUR time worth??

As entrepreneurs, how do we truly value our time? Time is our most precious commodity, yet many of us fall into the trap of micromanaging. I used to be guilty of this myself. Imagine hiring a house cleaner and then following them around, checking their work—what a waste of both your time and theirs! I’ve done a complete 180. Innovation is essential in any business…It’s a key component to differentiating yourself from your competition, and giving you a unique competitive advantage.  Striving to be new, better and different allows your company to stay relevant and service your clients even better.  Innovation also helps to distinguish between the  leaders  and the  followers .  It helps you achieve optimal market advantages and uncover new opportunities.  Innovation also leads to change.  Which in turn causes angst and resistance among many business stakeholders and/or team members.  When I sense someone fears change, I simply reposition what innovation really means… Continual improvement.  When you think about it this way, it doesn’t seem so overwhelming, does it?  What business owner doesn’t have at least  one  thing they’d like to improve in their business? I don’t know one who doesn’t.  No matter how big or small it is… Always remember that the smallest hinges can swing the biggest doors.  The truth is, ...

Especially when you find yourself continually hiring for the same positions  over and over  again.  Think about the time investment it takes to train new people.  Studies show that if you lose a trained “A” player on your team, the cost can be equivalent to 1 to 2.5X their annual salary… What is the real opportunity cost for you and your business when you hire the wrong people or lose a key team member? Here’s the good news...  There are ways to avoid riding this carousel of constant turn-over.  Here are a few of my secrets when it comes to hiring “A” players and building a high-performing team. First things first.  Where  are the people you’re looking for?  I’ve discovered the people you need most are not necess...
